California's Eastmont Intermediate School will reportedly receive several musical instruments soon in a gift from charitable group Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation. The foundation, which provides money for schools to purchase or repair their instruments, accepted Eastmont's application recently. The total value of the donation is reported at $28,500.

The school is going to receive three clarinets, three trumpets, three trombones, three euphoniums, one tuba, three bell kits, one alto saxophone and two refurbished saxophones. In addition to the new instruments, $2,575 of the grant will go toward the repair of some musical instruments.
