At the recent NAMM show in Anaheim, Calif., SBO and an enthusiastic team of music educators combed the music products industry convention for the best instruments, tools, programs, and accessories for classroom use, which were then showcased in a special presentation by an esteemed panel of veteran educators.

Among the winners of the third annual Best Tools for Schools awards are Recorder Express Game by JoyTunes and Alfred Music Publishing, Pneumo Pro Wind Director by Blocki Flute, the Jiggs pBone (distributed by Conn-Selmer), and the ear training/music theory/composition program, MusicalEar.
